Women and Tantra

While Tantra is an ancient, sacred approach to sexuality, it has much to offer modern secular women and the men who love them. Tantric teachings are both a spiritual approach to sexuality and an embodied approach to spirituality. With Tantra teachings, we learn to use our natural sexual energy to enliven and heighten our spiritual awareness. Tantra provides a highly evolved spiritual orientation to sexuality, based on seeing ourselves and our partner as embodiments of The Divine.

Considerable healing of many sexual problems, particularly those stemming from abusive situations or events is a common benefit of practicing Tantra. Pre-orgasmic women and women who orgasm infrequently or with difficulty will often become multi-orgasmic through Tantra. With Tantric practice, these women may develop the ability to achieve extended, expanded orgasms, often accompanied by a copious discharge of "amrita" the female ejaculate. PMS symptoms or menstrual cramps are often relieved or dissolved when a woman diligently practices Tantric energy work, either alone or with a partner.

Couples who have been in relationship or marriage for many years and have lost the "spark" can regain it through Tantra.
